Launched in 1987, James Cook is named after Captain James Cook, one of the greatest sailors, explorers and navigators ever to sail the seas. This Class D, Bm Ketch is registered in the UK with a homeport in Newcastle. With a yellow steel hull measuring 20.95 metres and a tonnage of 53.69, this vessel has the accolade of having circumnavigated the globe under sail.
