Handmade to order by Altered State, these beautiful Deluxe Crackers are your answer to a zero waste Christmas.After much success with sales for the past 3 years these crackers are available to purchase all year round.Made with a combination of quilting weight cotton and vilene for stiffening and Velcro for the pulling.Fill with your favourite things, be it chocolates, lip balms, mini drink bottles, toy cars, stickers or even make your own cracker gifts.These can be pulled apart like a traditional paper cracker. The velcro gives a slight crackle sound, or it is possible to add a cracker snap (available elsewhere online) if you really want the bang. I would recommend holding the bunched part of the crackers tightly if using snaps.Crackers produce so much mixed waste each year that cannot be recycled. Even the recyclable versions are producing waste. But with these you can use them over and over for years! They may even become a family air loom. Should any stitching become loose over time, this can easily be mended.This lisiting is for individual crackers, enabling you to purchase exactly the number you need or to mix and match the prints available. Each Cracker is £10 each.Quantity of crackers available dependant on fabric available to me.To fill your cracker you can either undo the ribbon and retie, or open in the middle with the velcro and put back together. The box your crackers are sent in is supplied with the intention of storing your crackers between uses.During peak Christmas season, October to December, I have a 2 week turn around time.
