This listing is for one of just two remaining large whale boxes/chests.It measures approx 13 inches by about 8 (see pics for scale – modelled by my lanky daughter �� )The box is made of wood and has a metal clasp.The entire box is painted and decorated in acrylics, prismacolor pencils and gold ink detailing. It has been varnished in waterbased matt. The inside is also painted. Because painting wood raises the grain, the box is hand sanded in a very fine grade paper so that it is smooth.The whale is wooden and also hand painted NOT printed.The box is unique and colourful and would make a fantastic gift. It is signed and numbered on the base.This is quite a bulky box and will store plenty of things! Will be sent by recorded delivery. UK only pls.The pics show the depth and size of the box as well as it on display at various craft fairs.
