This is a small awl made of 6mm square keyway steel – ideal to fit in a caddy or slip approx 12cm longWhilst it’s made of key way steel which is harder than mild steel and the tip is hardened using it to scribe steel will require it to be resharpened periodicallyMore for use on softer materials like wood and leatherHook end and reverse twisted made by hand in the forge by me so please be patient as these are made to orderThese are hand forged and hand twisted and designed to look rustic and aged – not like a machines perfect finish.
